Sleep Medicine is a cutting-edge academic journal focusing on the mechanistic research of sleep disorders and innovation in clinical diagnosis and treatment. The journal is dedicated to promoting the interdisciplinary integrated development of the sleep medicine field, with a focus on exploring key scientific issues such as sleep physiological mechanisms, diagnostic and therapeutic technologies for sleep disorders, and circadian rhythm biology. We particularly advocate an interdisciplinary research paradigm integrating neuroscience, respirology, psychology and artificial intelligence, providing academic support for scientific research breakthroughs and clinical translation in the field of sleep health.
The journal welcomes original research, reviews and frontier explorations in the following directions:
Neural mechanisms and regulatory strategies of sleep disorders
Precise diagnosis and treatment of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome
Cognitive behavioral therapy and drug research and development for insomnia
Biological basis and intervention of circadian rhythm disorders
Sleep monitoring technologies and artificial intelligence diagnosis systems
Research on the correlation mechanism between sleep and chronic diseases
Characteristics and intervention of sleep problems in special populations
Construction of sleep quality assessment tools and standard systems
Sleep health promotion and public health strategies
Clinical validation of novel sleep treatment equipment and technologies
We sincerely invite experts and scholars worldwide in the fields of sleep medicine, neuroscience, respirology and related areas to join the journal's academic team as editorial board members, associate editors, peer reviewers or editors-in-chief, to jointly lead the development of the sleep health discipline.
The journal aims to become an internationally authoritative academic platform in the field of sleep medicine, driving the paradigm shift of sleep disorder diagnosis and treatment from symptom management to mechanistic intervention.
