I am writing you the description of the Magazine: The direct mission of the Law and Life Magazine is the reflection and publication of the scientific results obtained by the researches within the departments and laboratories of the Applied Scientific Research of “Stefan cel Mare” Academy, as well as in collaboration with other institutions and scientific centers. It is directly persuade: the achievement of the scientific research directions approved by the institution (https://academy.police.md/); raising the quality of scientific research developed by researchers; development of skills and promotion of the professional knowledge of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova; democratization of access to scientific research published within the institution; ensuring the perpetual development of law knowledge, including crime prevention and combating, etc.
The magazine is printed in the typography of the institution, which bears its name – the Typography of the “Stefan cel Mare” Academy of the MIA of the Republic of Moldova.
In addition to the magazine, the typography has the logistical capacity to edit textbooks, university courses, monographs, studies and other scientific works elaborated by the employees of the institution.
All magazine editions are available on the institution’s website (https://academy.police.md/reviste/legea-si-viata // https://academy.police.md/editii-legea-si-viata). The magazine, according to the number of authors participating at publication of scientific articles, is printed at the number of 50-100 copies. One copy of the magazine is distributed to the authors free of charge. For the authors from outside the country a copy of magazine is also distributed by post. The magazine’s data is published in PDF format on the web page mentioned above.
Throughout the publication of the Law and Life Magazine periodical of the “Stefan cel Mare” Academy no problems have been identified, mainly referred to scientific quality of published articles. The editorial board is continuously concerned with raising the level of quality and excellence of the periodical. At present, a particular emphasis is placed on the internationalization of the Magazine. This is done in two dimensions: publication of articles in international languages and participation of foreign authors. For example, this year’s magazine includes articles published in English and other international languages. Has been noted the tendency of foreign authors to publish articles (Romania, Ukraine, Russia, etc.).
The publication is distributed free of charge to interested authors and libraries. At the same time, one copy of the magazine is distributed to educational institutions in the country and abroad with which “Stefan cel Mare” Academy has collaboration agreements. For curricular provision of the continuous professional training of employees, the magazine is distributed also within the subdivisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The institution is prone to provide recent and previous copies of the magazine to you, both in electronic form (PDF) and in the printed version.
The “Stefan cel Mare” Academy has the copyright on the publication. The author of the each article has its own copyright. Responsibility for the scientific content of the articles belongs to the authors, and they are also responsible for plagiarism. This is specified right on the back of the magazine title sheet.
