International Journal of Medical Microbiology and Tropical Diseases (IJMMTD) will cover basic, clinical and advanced studies related to medical microbiology including bacteriology, mycobacteriology, mycology, virology, parasitology and medical entomology. Not only the scope is limited to infectious diseases but it also includes non-communicable diseases commonly occurring in tropics. IJMMTD publishes editorial, original and review manuscripts, case reports, brief communications, letter to the editors and conference proceedings related to basic medical microbiology, infectious and tropical diseases. Editorial-Peer Review Process All manuscripts received for publications in IJMMTD are duly acknowledged to the corresponding authors. A manuscript will be considered for evaluation with the understanding that it is being submitted to IJMMTD alone at the point in time and has not been simultaneously submitted or published anywhere or already accepted for publication elsewhere. The content of the manuscript must be original and all the passages from published works are duly attributed. A corresponding author will correspond with the journal for all matters related to the manuscript.
