The History of Science journal is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed publication dedicated to exploring the historical development of scientific knowledge across various disciplines. The journal invites contributions from scholars in history, philosophy, sociology, anthropology, and other fields that examine the evolution, impact, and context of scientific ideas and practices. Articles should provide analysis of scientific concepts, methodologies, institutions, or figures, considering broader social, cultural, and intellectual influences. Submission Types Original Research Articles: Typically 5,000–8,000 words, including references. These articles should present original research that contributes to understanding the history and development of science across multiple disciplines. Review Articles: Up to 6,000 words, including references. These articles should provide critical reviews of interdisciplinary literature within the scope of the history of science. Essays and Commentary: Up to 3,000 words, including references. These shorter pieces offer reflections on contemporary issues or ongoing debates in the history of science. Formatting and Style Manuscript Length: Articles should not exceed 8,000 words, including the abstract, references, tables, and appendices. File Format: Submissions should be in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx). Font and Spacing: Manuscripts must be typed in 12-point Times New Roman, double-spaced, including references and footnotes. References: Citations should follow the APA of Style (7th edition). Footnotes are preferred for citations, with a complete bibliography included at the end of the manuscript. Abstract: An abstract of no more than 250 words must be included, summarizing the main arguments and contributions of the paper. Keywords: Provide 4–6 keywords to facilitate indexing and searchability.
