Abstract :
Quaternary prevention is the set of measures taken to avoid, reduce, or alleviate the harm caused by healthcare activities [1]. An identical idea to the Hippocratic message of "non nocere" (do no harm) and although it now seems to be very fashionable (multiple campaigns promoting "Not to do", "deprescribing", "rational use of medications"...) quaternary prevention is a concept that has not received much attention until recent years ("quaternary prevention" was not included as a MeSH term until 2020) [2].
