Abstract :

Introduction: The morbidity and mortality of acute myocardial infarction is rampantly growing worldwide. The infiltration of oxidised lipoproteins in intima of artery results in myocardial ischemia and ends up in AMI if not treated. Thus, the evaluation of risk factors will helps in understanding the ischemia and its progression towards infarction. Materials and Method: Three groups, control (n=33), ischemia (n=38) and infarction (n=42) were included. The parameters FBS, urea, creatinine, lipid profile and liver function tests were carried out. Results: All the data seen as mean ± SE. The mean were analysed by (ANOVA) with a post hoc multiple comparison test of student Newman Keuls test. The mean difference was considered as significant at
