Abstract :
The people who were infected by HIV would be very susceptible from illness. The burdens problems of PHIV will influence of bio-psiko-sosio-spiritual aspect. PHIV get much problems such as financial problems, grieving, frustration, depression and fear of death. The complexity problems by HIV can affect the deterioration of quality of life. One of factors that has an important role to improve the quality of life that is Spirituality. Objectivities : To determine the correlation between spirituality and quality of life patient who were infected by HIV at Poliklinik VCT RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta. Method : The study was a descriptive analytic with Cross Sectional approach. The Sample of this research were 69 people which were choosed by Non probability sampling that is purposive sampling technique.The data were collected by using questionnaires from WHO. Data analysis used Kendall’s Tau test. Result : Showed that there was moderate positively relationship of spirituality level with quality of life in patient who were infected by HIV at Poliklinik VCT RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta (? value = 0,000 < 0,05, ? = 0,514). Conclusion :There was relationship of spirituality level with quality of life level in patient who were infected by HIV at Poliklinik VCT RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta.
