Abstract :
Abstract This article examines the significance of Abdulla Qodiriy's novel "The Days Gone by" within Uzbek literature and the complexities involved in translating it into German. Through a comparative analysis of translations by Arno Specht (1968) and B. Aripova (2020), the study highlights linguistic and cultural challenges, translation methodologies, and their impact on text perception. The findings underscore the importance of preserving cultural nuances in literary translations and suggest avenues for further research in this field.
