Abstract :
Abstract Majeed Amjad is an epoch making poet of Urdu language & literature. He colud not get fame in his life. That's why the translators of the other languages of the world did not pay attention towards his poetry. Such translations are a few in number but they are high in quality. The translators through their translated versions in poetic and prosic form have tried to introduce this secluded poet in world literature. It is not easy to translate the version of one language to another language go with complete mixture of cultural & civilizational codes, the translators of Majeed Amjad Poems Muhammad Saleem ur Rehman, Anees Nagi, Waqas Ahmad Khawaja, Yasmeen Hameed, Anees ur Rehman, K.C Skenda, Mehr Afshan Farooqi, Iftikhar Arif, M.H Qureshi, Muhammad Rafay Habib and Prof. Sajjad Sheikh have presented different versions of his poetry wheather these translated versions have shown the true picture of his poems or not, is an important question. In this article, this matter is highlighted.
