Abstract Aquatic biotechnology plays a pivotal role in addressing the pressing sustainability challenges facing our planet's aquatic ecosystems. This abstract explores innovative solutions and their potential to enhance sustainability in this critical field. In recent years, aquatic environments have faced unprecedented threats, including pollution, overfishing, habitat degradation, and climate change. These challenges have spurred the development of novel biotechnological approaches aimed at conserving aquatic biodiversity and promoting sustainable resource management. One of the key areas of innovation in aquatic biotechnology is the development of aquaculture techniques that reduce environmental impacts while increasing food production.
