Abstract :
In this study, Viscum album ssp. austriacum (WISES.) VOLLMAN subspecies the effects of leaf and fruit ethanol extracts of the on Caenorhabditis elegans (C. elegans) individuals on egg production and physical growth were investigated. Viscum album ssp. austriacum prepared at different concentrations leaf and fruit ethanol extracts were applied to C. elegans standard medium. As a result of this study, significant increase in egg production was observed especially in leaf extracts of 0,5-0,125 g / 100 ml, whereas the same situation was observed between 0,1 and 0,125 g / 100 ml concentrations in fruit extract. As a result of our research, Viscum album L. ssp. austriacum no physical growth retardation was detected on C. elegans individuals exposed to various concentrations of leaf and fruit ethanol extracts.
