Abstract :
Aptamers are short, single-stranded nucleic acid structures that are developed by the method called SELEX (systematic evolution of ligands by exponential enrichment) which are bind to its target with high affinity and specificity. They are easy to synthesize, small in size and biocompatible due to their molecular structure. This short review provides information on therapeutic aptamers which are commercially available and are available in various Phase stages.
