Abstract :
This article deals with a simple and moderate Matlab /Simulink software model of voltage and frequency
controller for a stand-alone (or an isolated) six-phase self-excited induction generator (SP-SEIG). A simplified programmed controller circuitry keeps the terminal voltage and generated frequency almost fixed in order to maintain the uniform generator output power despite marginal drop in machine rotor speed during variations in consumer energy demands. Dynamic simulation results verify the proposed control strategy for merely one value of resistive loading at particular instant of time period.
