Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to determine the understanding of Catholic religion teachers about teaching supervision, procedures, techniques used, approaches, and results achieved in teaching supervision of the Education for Catholic Religious in SMP (Catholic) and SMP (State), Kefamenanu District, TTU Regency, NTT Province. Data was collected through interviews, observations, documentation studies, and analyzed conceptually inductively. The results of the study are (1) most religious teachers and supervisors understand supervision as an assessment activity; (2) parties involved in supervision activities namely the school principal, supervision team, senior teachers, teachers who are certified assessors, and supervisors; (3) the procedure made in teaching supervision consists of the procedure that is passed by the supervisor from the school and the procedure that is passed by the supervisor of a supervisor; (4) the techniques used in general use individual techniques; (5) the approach used in supervision is more on the valuation approach; (6) the results obtained from the implementation of teaching supervision that there are improvements and changes in teaching, there are variations in teaching methods, KKM is complete, about the child's attitude depends on the character.
