Abstract :
Cold War ended with the collapse of Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. Therefore, bipolar
World was replaced by a unipolar system. In this system new states were emerged and was faced
to issues of ethnic-based on hot conflict regions. One of these countries is Georgia which announced independence among those which primarily announced indepence. After independence will
have touched on developments in Georgia and will have examined especially Saakashvili period’s
domestic and foreign policy aspects on the basis of its neighbours Georgia, Turkey, Azerbaijan,
Armenia and Russian Federation in addition to the scope of NATO's relations with the US.
