Abstract :

This study examined the relationship between excessive screen time, eating behavior, and procrastination in both urban and rural settings among college students. This study utilized a cross-sectional design and was quantitative in nature. Data collection involves convenience sampling. Three distinct tools were used to measure the study's variables. The adult eating behavior questionnaire, the screen time questionnaire, and the general procrastination scale. The population of my study consists of adolescents aged 12 to 18 years from various schools and colleges. The statistical package for social sciences, or SPSS, was utilized to analyze and look into the study's hypotheses. The relation between the variables was determined using the Spearman correlation. The Two-Way ANOVA was used to assess the differences between male and female participants in urban and rural settings since the data is not normally distributed. The study sample comprised 184 students drawn from both rural and urban areas. The study has significant implications for teenagers' general well-being, education, and health in both rural and urban settings. It assisted in identifying the issues that students were having, and the institution ought to employ student counselors.
