Abstract :
—Calcium is an ion that acts as messenger in the cells. An important step to analyse and to study the Calcium (Ca2+ ) using images to consist on localization the cells inside the images. Sometimes this process can be difficult because of environmental factors. In this work, the PSO (Particle Swarm Optimization) algorithm is introduced in order to obtain the best image to segment, reducing the time of processing.
