Abstract :

Abstract Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a widespread health concern, particularly among the elderly population. While much research has been dedicated to understanding the physical aspects of CKD, there is a growing recognition of the profound mental health challenges it presents to elderly individuals. This paper explores the intricate relationship between CKD and mental health issues in the elderly, shedding light on the various factors contributing to this complex interplay. It discusses the prevalence of mental health challenges, their impact on overall well-being, and the strategies employed to address these issues. By examining the psychological aspects of CKD in the elderly, we aim to enhance our understanding of this multifaceted health problem and provide valuable insights for healthcare professionals, caregivers, and policymakers.
