Abstract :
Angel Financing is a financial technique which is commonly used all over the world. This
method, satisfying the financial needs of businesses throughout the establishment phase, is used in
Turkey since 2013. Though there is not enough academic study to create sufficient awareness in
the matter, the attention of investors and entrepreneurs to angel financing, which is being applied
in Turkey for around three years, is increasing day by day. Besides the increase in level of
education causes increase in number of intervenors to this implication. Also it is well known that
the number of licenced participants is 369 as of February 2016. The aim of this study is to
determine the role and place of women investors within the Angel Financing
