Abstract :
The term of globalization is multi-dimensional. The globalization process involves the establishment of economic, political, cultural, social and technological connections among countries.
Since the late 1980s, globalization have arguably been transforming World politics. However, the
rise of globalization is become unstoppale and it is no longer an option, it is a fact. The role of
nation-state in globalization is a complex structure. Globalization had some crucial characteristics
which had majör impact on the nation-state. Globalization has political, economic and cultural impact on the nation-state. The nation states played a big role in policy making which affected their
people but because of globalization, states roles became limited and less conspicuous in these political arenas. The West phalian state system has experienced a reconstitution and transformation
regarding the nature of sovereign statehood. Globalization has become a tool for applying pressure
for change in a certain direction to all government policies and institutions. In this study; explaining
the concept of globalization and the nation-state and change brought about by globalization occur
on the nation-state will be examined
