Abstract :
Abstract The gig economy, characterized by short-term and flexible work arrangements, has witnessed significant growth in recent years. This paper explores the challenges and opportunities that Human Resource Management (HRM) faces in adapting to the unique dynamics of the gig economy. Drawing upon current literature and case studies, we analyze the implications of gig work for HRM practices and propose strategies for organizations to effectively manage their gig workforce. The findings reveal a need for innovative HRM approaches to address the evolving nature of work in the gig economy.
