Abstract :
It has been said about house dust mites that “if you knew how harmful common dust could be, you would be walking around masked all dayâ€. United States Environmental Protection Agency defines house dust as a complex mixture of biologically derived particulate material (animal dander, fungal spores etc.), deposited from the indoor aerosols and soil particles brought in by foot traffic. Dust particle size is of particular importance as it influences the accumulation and resuspension of dust in the indoor environment (Morawska and Salthammer, 2003). The accumulation of dust is readily influenced by airflow patterns and activities taking place in the area (Thatcher and Largton, 1995).
