Abstract :
Acute pulmonary edema may occur in approximately 3% of women with pre-eclampsia, with 70% of cases occurring after birth. Acute decompensated heart failure (ADHF) patients with refractory edema unresponsive to diuretic therapy may be considered for ultrafiltration. Judicious use of BiPAP with helmet as interface coupled with meticulous hemodynamic monitoring may be a key to successful outcome.nu00a0
