Abstract :

A field experiment was conducted at Vegetable Research Centre, GPBU&T, Pantnagar during 2015 in a randomized block design with nine insecticidal treatments which were replicated three times and tested against thrips, aphids, whiteflys, cut worms and fruit borers. Among all the treatments, Fipronil 200 SC 250 mL/ha, was found to be the best treatment followed by Fipronil 200 SC 200 mL/ha, Fipronil 200 SC 150 mL/ha, Lamda cyhalothrin 5EC 300 mL/ha, Fipronil 5 SC 1000mL/ha, Imidacloprid 200SL 250 mL/ha, Lamda cyhalothrin 4.9% CS 15 g a.i./ha and Indoxacarb 14.5% SC60 g a.i/ha were found most effective against different pest compelex of chilli.
