Abstract :
Cinema is very distinctive place of arts in the
first place, it can be considered as the most significant form
to appear since the advent of opera in the late 19thcentury.
In India, Tamil film has attracted worldwide influence,
particularly in the visual text and visual elements are
mapped with multicultural sense. In the film study domain
number of methodological perspective used to study Tamil
films, apart from Critical Discourse Analysis perspective.
The present study is an attempt to introduce the possibility
of doing research in the manifestation of Critical Discourse
Analysis (CDA) approach with Tamil films
