Abstract :
Abstract Adissp (Adipose Secreted Signalling Protein) is a protein released from adipose tissue and is known as an important adipokine that regulates thermogenesis and glucose homeostasis of white adipose tissue. Adissp improves and maintains glucose homeostasis by increasing thermogenesis. Adissp also acts as a bioactive substance released from adipose tissue that contributes to systemic metabolic disorders associated with obesity. In obesity, defects in the production or release of adipokines released from adipose tissue can cause complications of many diseases, reduce the quality of living conditions and increase the mortality rate. This protein is an important molecule released from adipose tissue and has metabolic effects. In this review, information about adipose tissue and Adissp is given.
