Abstract :
The psychological issues are always challenging for every society. To address the psychological problems and for their determination the assessment tools are required. The current research develop a scale on fear of sexual abuse in women. At first, a pool of 62 items was originated through interview. After expert’s evaluation the item increased to 81. The pilot study was done with 81 items and inter-item correlation reduced it to 68 items. Further, field administration of these items was done on 340 adults’ women by using snow ball sampling and Google form questionnaire. The data was examined by using exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis and reliability test. Among 68 items 39 items were found reliable at the end after deleting problematic items and running covariance and regression weights. The reliability of the factors was between ranges of .777 to .949. A reliable scale of fear of sexual abuse in women was developed in Pakistan.
