Abstract :
Background: Coronary artery disease (CAD) continues to be a leading cause of morbidity and mortality all over the world, with smoking being a major risk factor that is modifiable.Materials and Methods: A six-month observational study was carried out at a tertiary care hospital in Telangana. A total of 110 patients with diagnostically confirmed coronary artery disease were enrolled. These patients were split into two groups: smokers (n=55) and non-smokers (n=55).
