Abstract :
The study was conducted with the aim to identify and analyze the psycho social problems among adolescents of rural and urban schools of Budgam and Srinagar Kashmir. Psychosocial problems may lead to maladjustment to family, school, and peer as well as result in various psychiatric morbidities such as anxiety, depression, personality disorders in adulthood. Thus it is imperative to identify these psychosocial problems and treat appropriately in early phases. Further recommendations can be made to arrange a special training programme to educate the teachers and parents regarding identification and management of psycho social problems at earliest.
