Abstract :
Echocardiography, a non-invasive diagnostic method that offers insights into cardiac structure, function, and hemodynamics, has emerged as a key component of cardiovascular medicine. In a span of less than five decades, this technique has undergone significant evolution, becoming one of the most commonly utilized cardiovascular diagnostic tests after electrocardiography. This article provides a concise overview of the evolutionary development of different forms of echocardiography.
