Abstract :

Abstract The aim of this study is to discuss how the philosophical stream of progressivism looks at learning Arabic in the context of the Merdeka curriculum of learning. The qualitative method used by the library research approach. This method based on Miles and Huberman's theory which data of this research was taken by observation and documentation and also analyzed by data reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusion drawings. The results of this study shown that the progressive philosophical approach to learn Arabic in the context of the Merdeka Learning Curriculum is highly relevant and has the potential to improve the quality of learning. Implementation of progressive concepts such as active learning, hands-on experience, and problem-solving has proven to encourage learners to participate more actively and effectively in the learning process. These findings indicate that progressive approaches can make a positive contribution to improving the effectiveness of learning Arabic in the Merdeka Curriculum.
