Abstract :
Abstract This paper explores the complex intersection of chemsex and HIV/AIDS, shedding light on the risk factors and vulnerabilities associated with this phenomenon. Chemsex, the recreational use of drugs to enhance sexual experiences, has gained prominence in recent years, especially within the LGBTQ+ community. This paper delves into the historical context, prevalence, and patterns of chemsex, while also examining its profound impact on the transmission and management of HIV/AIDS. Through an in-depth analysis of risk factors and vulnerabilities, we aim to provide a comprehensive understanding of the challenges posed by chemsex in the context of HIV/AIDS prevention and care. Strategies for addressing these challenges and promoting safer practices will also be discussed.
