Abstract :
Abstract This paper conducts a comparative examination of the role of ritual in religious practice across different cultural and religious contexts. Drawing upon anthropological, sociological, and religious studies literature, the paper explores how rituals function as significant components of religious expression, identity formation, and community cohesion. Through a comparative lens, it analyzes similarities and differences in the forms, functions, and meanings of rituals in various religious traditions. The paper also considers the socio-cultural, psychological, and spiritual dimensions of ritual practices, shedding light on their enduring significance in contemporary religious life.
