Abstract :

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between ostracism in the workplace, occupational stress and work satisfaction among doctors. After the extensive literature review following hypotheses was formulated 1). There would be a strong association between ostracism in the workplace, work-related stress, and medical doctor’s job satisfaction, 2). Ostracism in the workplace and work-related stress would be strongly associated with job satisfaction. In the current study total 2 hundreds medical doctors were selected from different government hospital located in the Faisalabad city through purposive sampling method. To measure the psychological variable i-e. Work place ostracism scale, work place stress scale and job satisfaction scale were used in the current study.
