Abstract :
Abstract The purpose of this article is to study the comparative-functional study of temporal (time-representing) units in the system of unrelated English and Uzbek languages in our linguistics based on modern methodological principles. Studying, researching and informing the scientific community about temporality and its comparative-functional research using the latest achievements of world linguistics and advanced methods are gaining importance today.
