Abstract :

Soil, which is the main source of nutrition from our basic needs, is polluted by various factors. Due to the increase in these contamination, the productivity of the soil is reduced and in case of contamination, sustainable agriculture cannot be mentioned. One of the areas where the cherry is produced in the group of hardcore fruits is Lapseki district in Çanakkale. In this study, it is aimed to investigate the Cd, Cu, Pb and Zn of sweet cherry garden soil of depending on the distance from the settlement in Lapseki. The soil samples were collected from two different depths (0-30 cm and 30-60 cm) of the orchards which were made of cherry and located at various distances (0-250-750 m) to the settlement center. According to the results, the Cd and Zn concentrations in the soil samples were normal in terms of agricultural production. When all samples were taken into consideration in the study, it was determined that Cu was above normal values and accumulation at all distances and depths. In this study, the difference of Cu concentration between two depths was found to be statistically significant (p
