Abstract :
A new bacterial form, Paenibacillus odorifer, has been recorded as primary invader on Labeo rohita fish
and identified by genomic DNA and 16 S r-RNA sequence analysis. Paenibacillus odorifer has been reported, for the
first time, from India. The climatic conditions have been found to affect the primary and secondary invaders on fish.
